Some of our chapter members at the 2010 Region 2 Fall Regional Conference in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.  We received the regional award for being the Most Involved Chapter for the fall semester!

We have General Body Meetings every other Wednesday in the Student Union Room 267 at 6:30pm. We talk about various topics all centered around creating a better you! See our chapter calendar for exact dates and email nsbe@uncc.edu to be put on the email list to receive all chapter information.

We also hold P.R.O.D.U.C.E. sponsored study sessions every Wednesday in the Student Union Room 267 from 7:30pm to 10:00pm. Come out and study with peers who are in the same classes as you! Collaborate to Graduate!

Living the Mission

The UNC Charlotte chapter continues to fulfill and live the mission by participating in National and Regional events such as A Walk For Education.  This is a day were volunteers walk door-to-door in a predominantly underrepresented minority communities distributing various high education information.

Introduction

The National Society of Black Engineers is the largest student-run organization in the world.  Members of all stages of education uphold the mission statement to "increase the number of culturally responsible black engineers who excel academically, succeed professionally, and positively impact the community."  

Engineers Week 2012 !!!!

                                              

On Wednesday, February 22nd we will be celebrating e-week by a having a speaker from the United States Marine Corps. He will be talking about the opportunities available to engineers in the USMC. The meeting Will take place in Cameron 101 at  6:30pm. Also on Wednesday we will be having a NSBE Movie Night, were we will be viewing a engineering related movie. The movie will start at  8:00pm in Cameron 101.
